When Fidel Morales Arriaga was born on April 24, 1882, in Patzicía, Chimaltenango, Guatemala, his father, José Morales, was 33 years old and his mother, Manuela Arriaga, was 37. He had at least four sons and nine daughters with Bibiana De Matta De León. He died on July 10, 1966, in his hometown, at the age of 84.
