Maximino Javier

Maximino Javier (1948) is a native of San Juan Bautista Valle Nacional. Since 1978, he has had numerous exhibitions, including those at the French Institute of Latin America Gallery; Rubicón Gallery, Los Altos, California; Klein Gallery; and Arts Workshop Gallery, Chicago. He has also presented exhibitions at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Grand Palais, the Museum of French Monuments, and the Galería de Arte, Centro Aldaba, Madrid. His work is included in the collections of: Continental Bank, Chicago; Phillip Morris Corp., New York; Museo Mexicano, San Francisco, California; Museum of Art, University of Iowa; Banco Nacional de México, Mexico City; Byer Museum of Art, Chicago; Museum of Contemporary Art, Montevideo; and the Ben Nordemann Collection, New York.
